Huskies Held Scoreless In Rochester

The Duluth Huskies (13-19) lost to the Rochester Honkers (18-13) 6-0 on a solid pitching performance from the Honkers.  Andrew Gagnon (Long Beach State) gave up 0 runs on 1 hit in 7 strong innings.  Scott McGough (Oregon) finished the game throwing 2 innings also allowing 0 runs on 1 hit.  Corey Jones (Cal State Fullerton) and Aaron Dunsmore (Dayton) both hit home runs on the night leading Rochester.

The Huskies starting pitcher Sean Yost (Nebraska) threw 5 innings allowing 5 runs (4ER) on 6 hits.  Alex Kent (Central Missouri) and Matt Harrison (North Carolina) threw the final 3 innings giving up 1 run on 5 hits.  Doug Joyce (Florida Intl) and Nathan Melendres (Miami) got the Huskies only 2 hits. Duluth takes on Rochester again tonight at 7:05 PM.
